0|0|Good News from Travis!!!|shellysmsmo|jpksms@sbcglobal.net|20:40:50|09/25/2008|<center><font size="1" color="#000099" class="f_postedon">Posted on Sep-25-08 at 08:40 PM (Eastern) by 76.199.236.219</font></center><p>Hello Everyone!! 2 phone calls in 2 days from travis from basic training in OK.<BR>He passed his rifle test yesterday...AND was 1 of 10 guys out of 267 that got expert markmanship..I hope that's right.<BR>BUT anyways..he will get a special badge and special recognition at his graduation on halloween.. YEAH!!!!!!  I'm so happy...<P>AND then tonight..he calls and he passed his "physical" part of everything...the pushups, the 2 mile run, and whatever else..<BR>he was really worried about the 2 mile run in under 15 minutes I think it was... he was really tired.. BUT in a great mood...<P>He sent haley a pkg ..got it today for her birthday next week... he says..did she open it yet..and i"m like no.. dont' you want me to keep<BR>it for her birthday..he says.. no have her open it now...  so she opens it... and she was so happy...but I broke down crying..OMG...<BR>It was so emotional for me... it says.. my brother is in the ARMY protecting all of us... WAH WAH WAH.. .wasn't that the sweetest thing..<BR>ok..deep breathe....  I'm like SO Hyped tonight....I'm like happy, sad..happy sad...I need medicine...LOL  BUT really...I'm so happy for him<BR>and yes..I am soooo proud of him.  After all of the begging him not to do this...HE seems like this is what he really wants to do!!  AND he's<BR>doing so well with it all....<P>SOOOOOO   my friends...thanks for listening to me...and letting me to let this all out... I'm so excited about it all...and his phone call..just made my night!!!!<BR>AND thank you for those that sent calling cards...that really meant so much... AND THAT's How he called me tonight!! so thank you..thank you..thank you!!

I do miss him so much he is in Iraq will come home for a short leave and then to Afghanistan for awhile so I feel your pain at times. I bet you can hardly wait for graduation! Catherine
