Point his weenie to the side or down so he's peeing into the diaper and not up and out. Then when you go to change him peek open the diaper just long enough for the air to hit it then cover it back up for a minute or so ... that should help you getting peed on .

The First few times we changed Dylan - we got hosed(badly). His first night home from the NICU - My hubby was changing his diaper(and I was supervising ...lol) He pee'd all over him , so I went over to help and he pee'd again all over me(I am just thankful My mouth was close - I am sure you get the idea) then he pee'd a 3rd time and I used my had to try and block it and it went everywhere - The changing table , wall , floor and in my hand(yuck) and to top off the evening while were focus on cleaning the pee off the baby and us - he pooped all over his changing table.(Can you tell we are first time parents ....lol)

Thankfully we have gotten much better since then and stay much dryer. When I am changing Dylan I use a Diaper Wipe Fold in half to cover his lil fire hose and it seems to work , this way if he pee's it doesnt go all over the place and i also put the clean diaper under him before I take the dirty one off so if he does pee or poop theres a diaper there. It seems to work well for us.

And like Kristy said make sure its pointed down. Also I found that the Huggies Brand leaked alot , I switched to pampers swaddlers and have had no leaks since. There a bit pricey and pampers seems to have crappy coupons but I buy them anyway cause they work for us.

they are fabric shaped like little cones that you place over them to keep the pee from hitting you.

I looked and looked and found no coupons for troll food......SO, I don't feed the trolls!! 6|4|I not only have the new one ready, but I have it under him before I pull the old one off. I used to be able to cover him with a wipe when I opened it, but he's too old now he'll yank it off. Just do it fast!!|amszyh|amy.buckley@gmail.com|09:03:06|09/19/2008|

I peed on a few time with the first one, don't remember any with the 2nd. You just have to be fast and I mean really fast. Have everything ready for the change before opening the diaper.
