Been suffering for 2 weeks, thought it was a UTI for the first week on our trip out of town and drank TONS of cranberry juice and water, but have been passing blood and "chunks/slim" with urine......very painful, and feel like I have to Pee just about all the time. As I urinate, the pain increases, with the most pain at the "end". Sometimes Cloudy, sometimes Clear urine....
Some websites says to drink COKE to dissolve stones, another says eat asparagus, and another says drink 1/2 and 1/2 olive oil and lemon juice....Anybody have any ideas (ones you've used would be VERY much appreciated)..please , I'm in pAIN and cannot afford to go to the DR
Hardly got any sleep last night due to the pain and getting up every 10 minutes or less to "dribble"

Sounds like the UTI infection spread and has now reached your kineys and starting infection there.
If you cannot afford to go to the doctor, do have a health food store near you? Like a gnc or something similiar? get a bottle of pure lavender essential oil, must say "essential" pure on the bottle and contain no other ingredients but the lavender oil. Place 2 drops under toungue every 4 hours, taste yucky but I use hot tea,leave the oil sit under toungue for 2 minutes and then swish my mouth out with hot tea and swallow. Lavender is a natural antibiotic/antiseptic, they used it way before man made stuff came around and since its all natural it works in the body faster to provide relief. I used it before for the onset of kidney, uti,brochitis, and phnemona and it works great at fighting infection.
** I have taken lavender to fight infection,but like I said I have taken in on the onset, which means immediatly it was taken, when i've had a kidney infection, I took it before seeing blood, so your infection might be too far out of control to fight effectively with the oil, you might need a strong antibiotic to get it under control..However trying something is better than no treatment at all, try it for 1 day if it your still having blood in urine you must seek medical treatment, as the blood is coming from your kidneys and can damage them beyond repair if left untreated.
**If you don't have insurance is there free state hospital or clinic you can go to? This has got to be treated if the above method does not work.

5|1|Carmen, if this is a UTI/Kidney infection, and goes untreated, you could become septic with the infection and need much MORE treatment including admission to the hospital for IV antibiotics...if it is a kidney stone, Shelly was right, you cant take care of that alone....you MUST go to the doctor. To avoid the ER today due to the weekend, if someone isnt in your dr's office today, is there a walk-in clinic or urgent care center you can go to? I appreciate all your help......going to the Dr/ER, etc just isn't an option financially (we're self employed, have no insurance , and are very behind in our bills and utilities already).....
I started on some antibiotics yesterday and have about a 6 day supply. I've passed one with the COKE method but am So sick of Coke I could scream so I'm attacking the second stone with the olive oil/lemon juice method. I just took my first dose of that about 30 minutes ago, so we'll see how it goes

the pain was alot worse today....
I have a 9:45 am Tuesday morning. They couldn't fit me in today.
The office visit will cost $15 , lab work will be extra (hopefully not too much)
and then meds...who knows how much those will run

they said Major infection !!!...passing tons of pus and blood in my urine, and protein levels off the charts. Got BACTRIM for 10 days... they don't think it's Kidney stones if I don't feel like I'm giving birth/labor pains...come back in a week if its not better
