Does anyone know what the difference between the DS and DS lite? I was thinking about getting one for my son for Christmas but I don't know much about them. He has a gameboy and loves it so I thought this might be something he would like.

Anyone have one or have any opinions on them?

Thanks 1|1|oops, mean about! lol|courtney022|courtneystoffel@aol.com|03:26:46|09/12/2008|

We have both the Gameboy and the Nintendo DS. I think the lite is just a smaller version of the Nintendo DS. Here is a link to more info on it:

My kids like both and play with both.

The DS lite is what I will be getting! He has a gameboy advance so his games will work on that, that's awesome! Thanks for the help. 7|2|I think they have been phasing out the DS anyway...like the color and GBA in the past. Regular DS accessories etc..have already been clearanced out. If you wanted something that will last a while the lite is the better choice.|Barb09|Barb0969@AOL.com|16:14:42|09/12/2008|

I looked and looked and found no coupons for troll food......SO, I don't feed the trolls!! 8|1|My 7 year old daughter really likes her Nintendo DS Lite; just make sure you buy the film protector sheet to keep from getting the two screen scratched...|Shirley5150|Shirley5150@yahoo.com|01:16:25|09/13/2008|

...It only cost us about $8 or $9 and can be replaced with another sheet. Our's is probably due for a change since my daughter uses the stylus pen like a mad-woman more than me ha ha!! This thing is an excellent stress reliever for me!!! Sometimes I wish I bought her the PSP instead, but then I think most of those games are too old for her now. But I like the idea that one can also buy movies to watch on the PSP.
