I can...lol )I am so nervous... not even sure why, beacuse I KNOW I can do it, we had 2 practice races with my training team and I did great... I have been training for this for 10 weeks.. I have NEVER in my life run a race, so maybe its the unknown that scares me......boy my stomach is in knots...

Wicked humid morning -- 77 degrees with 96% humidity when we started..... dead air 
I managed to run the whole thing in 32 min 46 seconds, guess thats respectible for my first race given the conditions. I finished 327 out of 413 overall and 26 out of 42 in my age/gender category. It was such a great feeling to have accomplished it!!! I am already thinking about signing up for another in October just to keep myself in shape.... I have yet to find the "runner's high" that's supposed to kick in.....lol Thanks for everyone's support!!!!!

you should be soooooo proud of yourself...way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 13|1|My last 5K was in high school... I smoked at the finish line b/c I didn't want an old lady crossing ahead of me ;0 I came in 3rd for my age group and got a trophy. My friend was so PO'd, LOL, she kept telling me the whole year that I stole her trophy. Ha ha ha. Couldn't run one now, that is for sure. Wrecked my ankle chasing the dog years ago and it won't stand for running and tweaks easy (though surgically repaired... sigh...)
