Ok, well I am now settled in to my new place and am ready to entertain! I have not had "company" in over 5 years!!! Well, I am going to have a group of women over for a passion party!
I am planning it for August 11th (Nothing set in stone yet) and am starting to think about whatto offer... no meals, but snak type foods that are cheap, easy, and good on a hot evening....
I have diced cucumber and tomato salad as a possibility and deviled eggs, but they sound like things my mom would serve... i need ideas! HELP!!

but i sell mary kay and a lot of the hostesses simply offer a special gift from the display....if the hostess seems like she's not going to....then I'll supply a lipstick or moisturizer as a door prize from the sales slips for people who bought items.

There is also sometimes a 'hot potato' like thing.......pass something around the room continually and every time a certain word is said by the hostess....(use your imagination on this one)........whoever is holding the bag so to speak gets to pick something out of the bag.

Just some suggestions.

Vegetable pizza...........I have recipe that I can get you.......it's made from crescent rolls and raw vegies....carrots...broccoli...cauli.....peppers; ranch dressing is the sauce (made firm with cream cheese)

Cheese and crackers are always good......or make your own cheese ball....cheaper.

Sweet & Sour Slow Cooker Meatballs.......easy....ground beef is always good price.....I could even send ya a $2 WT....says no ground beef but my stores take it....recipe i have makes sauce out of bbq sauce....honey.....worcestershire sauce

Ummmmmm I have a recipe for taco dip...... buy Tostito dip tortilla thingys.........and on a platter / plate......mix up cream cheese sour cream package of taco seasoning......put on platter......top with shredded lettuce...diced tomatoes.....shredded cheddar......and black olives if desired...... decent price.

You know, potatoes, ranch dressing instead of mayo, brocolli, shredded cheese, real bacon bits. Make ahead and put in fridge. The longer the better. If you are using red potatoes be sure to cook them longer because they can be hard! :) HTH

Okay.......I have this 3 cup pampered chef mixing cup/bowl....but it is oven safe.....as gag parties........we girls have gotten two of these and baked cakes in them.......

Inverted they look like very very bodacious breasts !!!!
