Posted on Jul-12-05 at 08:53 PM (Eastern) by 68.47.176.253 Hi all - I've got some great tomatoes that I'm planning to slice and freeze for this winter. I've never done this before, so I'm wondering: is it better to coat the slices just like you would if you were frying them immediately and put them between freezer paper OR is it best to just slice and freeze "bare" between slices of freezer paper?? Posted on Jul-12-05 at 11:08 PM (Eastern) by 24.20.247.36 takes whatever it is she is going to freeze this way and coats it and then lays it out on cookie sheets and puts in the freezer to freeze. Then she puts them into bags, this way they do not stick together and she can just take them out and pop them in some hot oil. SB Stephanie Brown
