I was wondering if you lost your "mucous plug" how long after did you have the baby(s)?
I never lost it with my son, and just lost it, or some of it, now! EW! ----I will keep everyone happy and NOT get into details lol
I called my OB, and she said everyone is different, some people go in 2 days, some people in 2 weeks....
so, just wanted to kinda get an average...lol
Thanks

2 . "Not me....just told me it could happen and they weren't too concerned with it...I was induced (not because of the plug, it was scheduled) 3 days later...."

Yes, me and my friend actually have arguments about it lol...im about 37 weeks....so if you count, 36 weeks is 9 months...i tell her every month you have 4 weeks, so im in my 2nd week of the 9th month...she says no, your 8 months pregnant, and will be 9 months at 40 weeks LOL
we've been friends for 21 years, and still fight lol jk

and I was induced the next day anyway, but I was having contractions that night. If you are wanting that baby out, have them check you. It is the surest way to get things moving ;)

I had mine easy. I had a c-section, so I went in first thing monday and had my baby girl within 3 hours, it was wounderful! Except when I left the hospital :( , then I was in so much pain for a few weeks. Are you having the baby natural? And do you know what you are having?

Im having a boy! and I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally hope I don't have to have a csection!!! I wanna push em out, shove em out waaaaaaaay out! lol
I had surgury when I was 5months preg with my son, and they just cut my skin and my muscles (I had a cyst the size of a football on my right overy)...I was in so much pain after. I can't imagine it with your uterus being cut and having to heal too...that would kill! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh
Myself, I'd rather go through a little pain then go home happy, then be happy and go home in pain...lol im a weirdo!

but the last two were c-sections. You don't want one. Just push him right on out girl!! When's your due date? I begged my doctor to take my girl early, fianlly he said fine only two weeks early and she was 6lbs 10.2oz. And lots of hair!!

Im due July 5th...and the other ob said the 6th...weird
Wow! u got your doc to do it!good for u...they said he's already probably 7lbs...so if he stays in the whole time he'll be just about or over 8lbs...which stinks cuz my son was 8lbs 14oz and i had to have an episiotmy or however u spell it....that wasn't very pleasant.
My son had alot of hair too!
I had his cut at 6 months because when you straightend it out it would go down to his lips! and people would tell me how beautiful my daughter was!!

I just wish I knew of someway to avoid having an episi-ot-omy!

No seriously they would ask that!!!! she had a full head of hair and you could see no scalp ever. She had hair to her waist by the time she was 10 months. NO LIEING!!! Oh and the episotomy thing yeah I did that twice too. THe second was so much easier than the first. I was on my feet and in the shower about 2 hours after that fat head 8/8 baby came out...lol. The best thing I felt at the time...I felt good with this one. However I dont think I will be doing that again!!! ACK!! my son was hairy to just not as much as my daughter...Who still has crazy hair at age 6!!
