My cat is a older cat about 10 years old. She is a good cat but hates it when she see a spoon. She caught a cold when the weather got cold down to 33 degrees and the vet gave me some anti-diarrhea medicine for her. She has to have a tablespoon every 12 hours. She hates it and hides when she see the spoon, tried putting in food and she will not eat the food . I hold the back of her neck and spoon it down her so she will take her medicine. She gets about half the spoon full and runs. Last night I chases her around the room trying to get her to take the medicine. She is due for another table spoon tonight.
Any ideas on how to get her to take medicine

have a great day Gloria

Did not think about a eye droper. She took her meds last night and did not like it but did not fight with me .

Thank you very much

Have multiple syringes around the house from old medications - I use that and squish it deep into the back of her mouth.

I also use vanilla ice cream

Ever watch The Incredible Dr. Pol on Nat geo? He makes everything seem so easy

Many years ago, my vet told me to but butter on the pill so it would slide down the cat's throat....LOL!!! But the butter caused the pill to stick to my fingers and I couldn't even get it off.

Her name is crybaby and she is spoiled and knows it. At 2.30 A.M. today she jumped on my bed to let me know she was hungry. Not happy about waking me up at that time in the morning, but happy she is feeling better
