I'm sorry but I logged in as my wife to see if any of you can offer any suggestions for me. My wife and daughter used to challenge each other grocery shopping to see who could save the most. Sadly our daughter passed away from cancer right before the holidays in 2019. I know that she still loves couponing and saving money at the store. She will use the Ibotta app (just looked at her phone). She appears to have lost interest and the fun she used to have saving at the grocery store. I catch her looking at the sales ads, but then she just starts to cry. Any thoughts how I can bring the savings spark back to my wife?

Can you go through the different apps and websites, pick 2 or 3 things that are really cheap or free, set up a shopping trip and drag her along? Maybe she'll be inspired?
What stores do you use?
Oh, BTW, everyone I know who lost a child needed counseling, whether private or group. My nephew died of a drug OD at 29 and my sister-in-law went to 3 different people/groups before she found one that clicked

can clip some coupons and show her this store has this on sale
and that store has that on sale and maybe it will peak her
interest again or you go with her and then stop for lunch somewhere
and enjoy a day out
