Living now permanently in The Florida Keys, I miss Fall. I grew up on Long Island and by August, evenings became cooler and it was actually enjoyable
It is still 88 degrees every day here - just finished 3 days of rain - caterpillars have returned to my milkweed, swallows have returned to the grass, mushrooms are growing up through my mulch.
Our schools opened last week - continues to be mask free - My family in OH are talked about buying new winter coats and boots.....funny

We have a mobile in a 55+ park in Sarasota and we go down February to April. Starts to get too hot for me in May and I could NEVER imagine living there in summer!,UGH!!!
Fall in New England is by far the most beautiful time of year!!! Got my first pumpkin spice coffee today in Maine(NEVER too early for me!!!!) and apple picking and football games and life in general is my favorite year in the fall!!! Better yet, rates on Cape Cod go down after Labor Day and it is absolutely beautiful there in September and October!!!!
I willl never live anywhere else!!!! Snow in the winter is fine with me, I leave for sunny Florida in February when it is really cold!!!
Living my best life in New England and loving every bit of it!!!

Winters can be brutal here in Northern Wisconsin as well.
Even worse since my job is driving in the snow 5 days a week.
I like fall as its a great time to go camping and enjoying the
outdoors. I'd be ok with 70's on a daily basis.
Deb someday we will make it to Maine. We have been as far as
Vermont. Such a beautiful area of our country.
Patsy I am a lover of homemade baked goods as well.
