I had a total hysterectomy when I was 29 and have been having hot flashes for 40 years......LOL!!! I was not allowed to have hormone replacement and "they" all said my adrenal glands would replace the hormone stuff but it never happened.

Are you sure they are hormonal? If I take Tramadol for pain, the night sweats are pretty horrible. It may be a medication you are on that is causing this. Have your doctor sit and review your medications with you and if you cannot find a comparison, ask the doctor for a blood test for hormone levels.

don't know what is causing them. he put me on antibiotics because he thought it
was uti but I still have the hot flashes and then the chills
looked up on google and 2 of the things that I have are thyroid and started
drinking a lot more coffee which they say also can cause them.

Diagnosing a UTI is pretty easy - you either do or you don't - your doctor "thought it was a UTI" doesn't make sense. You have chills....fever? Thyroid is a simple blood test - any woman over 30 should have their doctor check their thyroid every year - I have been on medication since my 30s.
