Going down memory lane with my son telling him all the great things that we used to get with cig reward programs, but I can only remember a few things. Please share anything you received so many years back; maybe it will refresh my memory too!

The few things I do remember are things we still have:
Wool Marlboro blanket
CD stereo with detachable speakers
Sleeping bags
Two really nice lamps

(ETA to add to my list).

Marlboro, Kool, Newport, and Camel all had promos going on at one time or another.
I traded most of the qualifiers away ... but I still managed to get some stuff for myself.

Marlboro denim jacket, still have.
Marlboro wind-breaker jacket, still have.
Marlboro black T-shirt, still have but kinda faded though.
Marlboro 4 mug set (blue), still have three out of the four mugs.
Marlboro monocular, have no idea where that thing even is.

I think I might still have a bunch of Camel ca$h lying around. I could RAOK that to you, jlmk. (I'm serious).

Just as a FYI, I smoked Marlboro Lights, Parliaments, and Natural American Spirit cigs before they were bought out.
The BEST tasting cigarette I probably ever tasted was a Chesterfield.
Just thought I'd let you know.

Thanks for the offer, but as far as I know, those camel cash are worthless these days.

An interesting thing I came across last night when googling - apparently there was a class action lawsuit in 2016 against camel for their abrupt end to the camel cash program. From what I read, if you still had camel cash, you could apply to cash in the ones you still had in exchange for money...unfortunately, it appears the deadline to do so long passed.

Thank you though for offering!

IIRC, I probably have about 18 of them stuffed in a ciggy pack somewhere.

Had I known, they'd be gone. Thanks for that info though. ~~ ~~

and dumped most of my "stuff" when we moved to FL to a one-bedroom house

BUT - I remember Del Monte stuffed animals and all the stuff I used to get from Marlboro - gym bags and jackets I remember the most

My teenage boys just hated that I asked them to wear all this stuff that had logos on it. To this day, not one of us will give free advertizing to any company anymore!!

It was only suppose to be for military but someone got them and traded them me and some friends got the bright ideal to run a ad in our local paper and buy them for .5
we would meet these people at local stores and it was like a drug deal. we would go up to people and ask you got the cig wrappers you know of all the trades only 1 couple cheated us and they were in this really fancy car. we had thousands of wrappers before we quit buying we got all kinds of nice things,TVs phones cameras leathers jackets all of it top brands we had so much they brought it in a ups truck just for us. those were the days

Those marlboro miles and camel cash afforded us a few nice things along the way at a time when money was beyond tight.

I just remembered something else we got - two really nice lamps.

I'm sure there was so much more that we got that I'm just not remembering - I'm hoping replies here jog my memory.

I don't smoke, but I remember always keeping an eye out for discarded packs in parking lots and at stores. I would also buy points on here sometimes because you could spend just like $20 on points and end up with a $150 stereo - well worth it!

I don't recall it just being for military though (?) Maybe that was a separate promotion cause I remember trading and buying the points on here a lot.

Yes, those were great days. There were a lot of other programs (non-cigarette) that got us things along the way.

2 small 16 inch TV's
There were other things but my
brain is on pause today.

Hi, In the 90's there was a deal where you had to have 5 smokers I'D's it was called a Party of 5 I got:

1-Weber BBQ gas grill with free utensils
1-Sony Hi-Fi Mini Stereo System
1-Camcorder
2-100 Qt. Coleman Coolers (still use this)
5-Disposable Polaroid Cameras
$250.00 worth of Omaha Steaks (I got 16 steaks)
$200.00 check
They came to the house and opened the truck up and FORGOT to load it. They even called me to lmk when they would be here. So they ended bringing it the next day!!! What a FREE DEAL!!! I took so many upcs. I walked everyday picking up empty cigarette pkgs. plus we both smoked at that time. I also used my parents ID and a friend that smoked so we all benefited from this deal. You had to call in on a particular day and there was only so many of these deals given out. I stayed home from work that day so I could try to get 1 of the deals. At that time I only worked 3 days a week (waitressing). That also helped me collect upcs. My Boss was so understanding!!! I'll never forget that particular deal!!!

Does anybody remember getting free jackets from Merit Cigarettes? I also got a lamp from Merit and luggage from Virginia Slims? Sure Miss the Great Deals!

I've never, ever smoked, but recognized a good deal. This is a subset.

From Marlboro:
Mini Weber Grill
Pretty durable large capacity wheeled duffel, easy to spot on baggage carousel
Sleeping bag and tent (still part of my California disaster go-bag)
Folding Fuji mountain bike (required small additional payment)
Zippo lighters, including the very rare 'green roof'
CD player
Other camping items promptly claimed by housemates

Virginia Slims:
Bodum French press coffee set (included glassware that looked like it was swiped from a lab)

Camel
Joe Camel Zippo lighters
