Ladies, I am so upset can you believe how much time has passed? and how many of us have come and gone? I want to do a remember when post of traders that have passed away or something to remember everyone I'm just devasted at all these losses. does anyone think that would be a good idea? we could keep it updated and add to it as someone passes..we can put as much info in it as we can about them but at least their name and the year they died. I miss Kathy trusty so bad still she was a good friend..and there have been so many many more and will be more to come... I am 47yrs old I have been a member here since I was 29 hence my user name...I feel like one day you all will be talking about me passing one day...I am so sad....I truly cherish this Board and my friends here this is my happy place my home away from home..a place I can come and vent etc..I love you all ...ty for being here for me over the years...

have been refunding since 1981

The person I miss most that I never met was Valerie McCracken from Easton, PA. Her email was Vrefundo@Aol.com. She wrote columns in all the refunding magazines. She died a few years ago from bladder cancer. We traded through the mail and then internet all that time

And Sandy Ennis, the editor of Refund Express. Each issue was full of stories of her life and her family and young boyfriend (husband?) and I still remember her talking about moving to a place that was full of apple trees (Michigan?)

kathy trusty was very upbeat and always took the time to chit chat for a minute even
with all of her troubles RIP!!!

I belonged to a group of OLDTIMERS for many years and Val McCracken was the one that
started it was also so sorry to hear of her passing.RIP

there are so many that have left us...

4 . "I like that idea. I have only been here since 2011 and am 54 so I gotten to know quite a few great traders. I've been rebating/couponing since 1989. It's been a fun journey."

When Moneytalk was going the editor organized 3 cruises which were a ton of fun. I've lost track
of all but one trader I met on the cruise and right now she is weighing heavily
on my mind as she lost her husband and is now having medical issues.
I too love this forum. Happy Easter to my traders.

I love feedback, please let me know how
your trading experience went with me,
Thank You

Its hard to see so many people gone, and the new ones come in not knowing what we do. Yes I miss the traders I have traded in the pass. I am a oldie and do not like changes and see people go.
I remember the coupons for 10 cents and you would get cash back in the mail for a refund. There were coufunds ( you paste so many upc's to the coupon and then use it like a coupon). There has been so many changes in refunding and couponing. Seeing people go is the hardest.
I think a list of traders that have passed would be nice.

Have a great day Gloria

i am 69. i have been fortunate enough to have traded with some great people in even greater places. traded in las vegas for many years. went to conventions in oklahoma, west virginia, pennsylvania. I miss that. i miss sitting down to trade one on one with people. seeing things that were new to me. first time i saw a code and tape deal was a shock. had never seen anything quite like that. that was about 1985. i have been refunding atleast 35 years. i had dinels pamphlet with upc numbers. i subscribed to various magazines including money talk. no more boxes of upc's, very little food health and beauty. everything now is alcohol.. i have lost 2 very good friends in the last few years and you don't replace that. oh well. like they said in shawshank redemption- you get busy living or you get busy dying and i am not quite ready to die yet.

DO NOT meddle in the affairs of dragons for YOU ARE CRUNCHY AND GOOD WITH KETCHUP!
