but I have contacted Inmar about never received rebates and they refuse if they are around 6 months late or older. It might depend on the sponsoring company

You could check the unclaimed property web-site for your state. If a rebate check is not cashed, the issuing company is supposed to report it. I have gotten around $100/year this way.

I have been re-issued checks, but I don't think they were that old;it doesn't hurt to try. I also had to acknowledge that the checks being replaced would be cancelled and I could be charged a fee if I tried to cash them.

He and my daughter were engaged and lived seperately and if I had an extra rebate I would send it to his place and told him that these checks could be used for them. Well, he saved them all and my daughter found them when they got married and most had already expired. I called one of the clearing houses and they just laughed and said that they would not reissue them.

Interestingly, my brother in NY seemed to be the only one who got the lost rebate check letter. This was many years ago

It was always Bud, it used to be all those $4 NBPR checks - About every 2 years he would get a list of un-cashed Bud rebates, he had to fill out the attached form and send it back (I don't remember the address) and then he got all the checks

You can reclaim many old checks that were never cashed; this is done through the state, not the rebate companies. Do a web search for "unclaimed property" and your state's name, there should be a list. Someone posted here a few years back about a national "master-list", but I don't remember the site.

Last week my daughter who lives in MI did a search for unclaimed money. She had almost $300 in checks from Inmar. They had
moved a couple of times so i guess the checks didnt get delivered.2 days later she got an email saying they were mailing
her a check for the total amount. I will post if she actually gets a check instead of the expired checks
