had not seen a mail person since last friday here in Chicago
the snow delayed everything. what I hate is the threats on the
phone, gas, and electric if you do not pay by the due date
add this much more to your payment.

It would take a lot of snow for mail delivery
to not happen. I don't remember a day in the
past 20 years that we didn't have mail delivery.
I think that envelope you mailed on Jan 20th was
delivered by foot to Northern Wisconsin.
