As some may know i take care of people who are ill and dont want to be in hospitals. So i take care of them mostly in their own homes. All are on disability or even some type of welfare. These people are asking me if they will recv. pres. trump help in april and may. Ive looked online and it says all americans. But these people i take care of dont have to file taxes. Anyone know if they will get help as well?
Thanks for your help. My patients ask me everyday about this.

File on line and the you will get it. I think that is the way it goes not sure. There is a number you can call 844-330-2020 or go to my2020census.gov. I went online and filed and you get a code back to prove you filed. Most people got a letter in the mail with census id code on it to file online.

AZ? TX? havent' heard from you in yrs....
As I understand it, the plan WAS that, based on last yr's tax return, some lowish income folks who paid taxes last yr, would get a check and soem higher income people might get alarger check but above a certain incom e, you'd get nothing. As I understand it, this plan is going nowhere as one "side of the aisle" wants to give big financial breaks to big corporations without requirign them to pass benefits on their workers. Last time big corporations got a big tax cut, the ceo's voted themselves raises and used the funds to buy back their stock... none of it benefitted their workers or trickled back into the economy. The other "side of the aisle" believes this is unconscionable and that the help should go to workers who are losing jobs and have families to feed.

nothing has been passed....

My only income is SS so I do not have to file taxes but I do anyhow (free online) because you need to refer to it for your homestead rebate and your water company rebate and your old people everything rebate....you can easily file online for your older people by simply putting in their SS income (you are mailed a paper with this information) and nothing else.....it will say you owe no money but you can send it in anyhow to have on file. that way you are guaranteed if it comes down to tax filings

BUT, I thought this stimulus was only for people affected by the loss of income - if your people did not get a change in their income, they wouldn't be eligible anyhow.....I am not an expert, I may be wrong

I use hrblock.com
