My email has been changed. If you mail me anything check for my address.
Updated email to wcs3800@gmail.com

I think it is a glorified pressure cooker but everyone seems to think it is the best appliance they ever bought. It is pricey so would like to know if anyone bught and did not like it before I spend my money on it.

Thanks

I've got one....I'm not impressed so far, but people swear by them, so I'm determined to learn to use it. I do prefer my slow cooker, though.

I have pressure cookers , regular stove top ones and have always used them....So if this is the same thing , only electric like my son's is, it's a good thing..but looks expensive

I used to have a pressure cooker when I first got married and it was one that had to be used on the stove. This electric one is very quiet and efficient. Pressure cookers have come a long way through the years.

8 . "I have one and love it! I not only ..."

cook meals in it but regularly cook deserts in it as well. for instance crustless pumpkin pie and cheesecake to name a couple. Love the fact that I can just chuck a bunch of meat in there totally frozen and in a few minutes it's cooked and ready to serve/use. Even ground beef..just chuck the frozen lump in there on the metal trivet and in a few mins it's totally cooked. all the fat drains into the water and the gr beef keeps it's shape so you just lift the gr beef out..dump out the water..then you can put the gr beef back in and choose saute and make sloppy joes or tacos or whatever. Pretty much a one pot cooker.(always make sure you have at least a cup of water in there as it is a pressure cooker so needs water to cook). Just a couple examples of things to make in there. Oh..I have made yogurt too. Yummm!

What is your model #, I didn't realize it came in so many models. Does it come with a cookbook?

I have the 8 quart and love it and probably my favorite thing to cook in it is baby back ribs but I cook beef stew, lasagna. Taco pie , meat loaf and all kinds of soup and chili and my favorite dessert to cook is cheesecake.
