In memory of my beloved beautiful brother Sonny
whom earned his wings in heaven 10-26-65 5-4- As many here may know our son Thomas Peter whom is 29 was born with many severe heart problems. He had his first open heart surgery on 4-5-88.....he was only three weeks old. When he was born he was full term excellent weight great color....However that all changed in days....his breathing was very heavy and even to eat or go to the bathroom was a strain on him. We immediately took him to his baby doctor whom at the time was a Father and Daughter Doctor team.....Dr Dino and Pamela Diello.....they examined our baby and thought his breathing was a bit off as well and also they thought he had a heart murmer which he does. Just to be on the safe side they sent us straight to the Childs Hospital Pediactric Hospital and there we met the most wonderful Baby Heart Doctor in the world Dr Angela Romano......she has been in Tom's life ever since...Anyway they did many tests and found 4 heart issues....He again had his first open heart at 3 weeks ago right from that visit Tom was immediately admitted into the Hospital......they repaired his a torn rip in his value . In all Thomas was in the hospital for 3 weeks. Then at 9 months old he had open heart again to repair tiny holes in his heart. Then at 2 years old he as angioplasty to repair his aortic stenosis.....then at 8 he had it done again. Now from that point he has gone to his cardiologist every 6 months never missing a appointment. Each time he has blood work.....a physical ......a ekg......a echo cardiogram and a stress test.....Our precious baby boy now a man but still forever our beautiful baby boy has been through so much in his life. So at this point the Doctors always told us one day his valve will close to the point where they would have to intervene and repair his valve either with a pig valve or a mechanical valve.....They said maybe when he 13 then 18 then 21 then 25....well at this last visit they determined by the time he is 30 which will be 3/8/18.....he will need surgery...So we are asking for prayers because tomorrow he goes for his check-up. They believe he has done well and that he would be a excellent candidate for a tissue repair because we and him have always taken excellent care with all he has done with his medications and visits and not being allowed to play for any school teams. Otherwise like my nephew Michael they are first cousins......his dad and me are siblings. Michael was not a candidate and on 8-6-13 he had to have a mechanical valve which is serious. He will forever need to take 5 medications.....rejection medication and blood work once a week and be on blood thinners and no physical activity at all. So we are hoping and praying that our son receives excellent news and when this surgery will happen....So from one mom to all the moms here please keep our son Thomas in your prayers for tomorrow thanks and peace.....xoxoxxo

In memory of my beloved beautiful brother Sonny
whom earned his wings in heaven 10-26-65 5-4- Many thanks to all whom posted here and whom sent me private emails and texts.....I sincerely appreciate it all for our son Thomas Peter it is truly a blessing to see how many people care about another member's child.....for today the doctor's said his valve was once as gotten narrowed 3 more radiants of size......so they want to see him again in three months. They believe either by the time he will turn 30 or 31 they will need to intervene and sadly with tears our son will need yet another open heart surgery which is very major...he is not a child anymore but an adult and any adult open heart surgery it very serious...I am crying as I write this because as his mom besides all his heart issues our son Thomas Peter lives with the most digestives issues then anyone else I know...He was also born lactose intolerant .....he has IBS>>>He has Chrons'Disease also Acid Reflux and finally his stomach acid juices either settle and do not move forward or come back up or worse because they settle too long and then move along his digestive tract this does more damage and causes him to have to always be very close to a bathroom and severe stomach and digestive cramps. For all these digestive issues he is on 4 different medications from his Gastro Doctor God bless Dr Rush we love him.....I have to say perhaps from having so many health issues all his life.....they did indeed mature our son...He is fine young man whom rarely complains.....he is deep in thought....he is kind he is generous....he is loving and so mature. Sometimes I fool around and say whom gave birth to whom. Above it all I know he has suffered and we have cried many times as any parents or mommy and daddy would ....but we were blessed with a fantastic son.....and God choose us to be his parents....Again peace to all whom took the time to send us a message. I will let Thomas Peter read all the messages....Peace and God Bless...

For anyone whom has children or not or fur babies you can truly understand how we feel especially since our Thomas Peter has been dealing with all his health issues for 29 years from our hearts thanks so much I have some wonderful caring loving friends here and I am blessed .....Hugs and peace.
