We had a baby girl on Sept 22nd. I needed to know how do you save money on disposable diapers? We got Sams Club membership last month. There it costs us $34-$36. Any ideas pls lmk.

I found that often times buying at a drug store with a store coupon and a manufacturer's coupon combined was the cheapest way to buy diapers. Look at ads for Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS, etc to see if they have store coupons. When they do, use your manufacturers coupons too and stock up!

get in the coupon loop for baby items and always let people know when you need coupons because you can find lots of baby advice and coupons here. We have some great moms at this site

Be sure to sign up for the CVS advisor panel - I have gotten some surveys worth $10, which I spent on diapers too.

Food Lion has a Baby Steps program - sign up for that if you have one near you.

the new updated version of cloth dipes do not require pins, they have velcro and are just like disposable, complete with elastic in legs/waist...many cloth moms send a wet bag along to keep the dirty dipes in...until more people are open to this idea they work best at home day care centers or moms that work from home.

** more peditricans are recommending "cloth" to the parents as some babies have allergies and get severe rashes due to the chemicals/toxins that are present in disposable diapers.
