Posted on Aug-05-07 at 04:33 PM (Eastern) by 68.61.45.170Select GM cereals were on sale 10/$6 (1.66 ea), and I had just 10 GM $1/1 coupons...making them 66¢ each, and they all had 3, yes 3, box tops on them. I also purchased 9 capri suns, also the 10/6 sale and had 3- $1/3 coupons...
But the best part is, I got a checkout coupon for 70, yes 70 bonus box tops. I was so excited that the girl asked me about why, so I told her how I am the box top coordinator at my sons school and always have LOTS of box tops from my own purchases and impress all the teachers/pto moms. So she told me that she had thrown away 2 more of those certs and pulled them out of her garbage and gave them to me. They were only for 20 bonus box tops, but 40 box tops = $4 for the school.
Sooooo, here is my plea---If anyone gets these, or any box tops for that matter, please let me know. I don't usually have much to trade, but I am trying. I really don't like to pay for the box tops, as that kinda defeats the purpose, in my thoughts.
Please let me know how many you have, and what you would like to trade. The look on my son's face is priceless, and he really enjoys it when his class is ahead because I am so diligent about clipping and telling others to clip them to.
Our school hadn't done very well the past couple of years with box tops, and when I formed the trash 2 cash committee, they were all impressed. Previous checks, if anything was submitted, were for under $100. Last year, we met our $1000 goal with some great donations and contests.
I am planning a big back to school contest and would love for my son to be happy again about it.
