So I went to wal mart looking for the pantene that everyone has been talking aboout and didnt find any. I looked in all the clearance spots and nothing. I was so sad then i finally found some. I collected about 50 bottles and found some shick quattro razors marked for $1.97 so I got 3 of those. I get to the register i get rung up they scan all the coupons and it wont cash out so she has to call the assistant manager and he says we cant use the coupons. One one coupons per perchase so I would only be able to use one per transaction BLAH BLAH BLAH they usual wal mart coupon drama so I tell him well you better get me someone over her to ring them all up separate. Over 20 transactions and 45 minutes later I ask to talk to the manager and they bring me another assistant manager and I tell him no you dont get it I want to talk to the REAL MANAGER. They bring me the real manager he tells me he doesnt have time to talk to me because he has interviews. He was really rude to me and even told me next time they werent going to ring them up separate that I was only going to use one coupon and thats all there was to it and I told him oh no you wont have to worry about next time because I am never coming back. He told me well maam thats your perogative but im not losing my job over your coupons. I told him the man behind me had to wait 45 minutes and he said he was sorry customer service comes first and I said yeah I can tell. Then I told him well I guess I will have to call corporate but they care about their customers about as much as you do. He told me that all corporate was going to do was call him and tell him to call me and tell me the same thing he has already told me. I gave him my name and told him when corporate told him to call me not to bother because I didnt want to hear any more from him. I was so mad I could scream. Keep in ming I got up at 3am on like 3-4 hours sleep and had a really rough day. I should have known better than to think I could use coupons at wal mart.

is pretty much non existent at the WalMart close to me. If I do finally get an associate to acknowledge me they don't have any clue where something is and they don't try to find out.Coupons are just a nightmare they read one per purchase as one per transaction. So I rather pay a little more and go somewhere else.
If I were you I would call corporate anyway just to have it documented.

They are supposed to be all about Customer Service. Yea, alot of cash clerks don't have any idea what is accepted and what is not when it concerns coupons. In fact, it amazes me that some of them have worked there so long and still don't get it, but... make them call corporate, they will tell the manager and clerks to accept your coupons ect. I have made them call many times while I'm waiting to be checked out because of the same thing. I was lucky though, I always had my daughter with me for support and she would tell them who to call and how they were supposed to handle the situation. It seemed to always take me an hour, but well worth the trouble with the cart full of free stuff I always managed to go home with. So make them call corporate. Coupons were meant to be used and they do have to accept allll of them at the same time at Wal-Mart. Val

The only training they have gotten aboutthat is from me lol So they both take what is handed to them verify that they have the items and then scan the coupon and as long as it doesn't beep they are cool lol They also know that it is the left scan bar on the coupon that gets scanned and not the right lol I think they fear me if I ever found out they gave a couponer a hard time lol

And because of her, I learned what was acceptable and the importance of Customer Service. You know they can get sued if they have rotten customer service! They have to cater to the customer. So I never let them give me the run around, they know better than to mess with me... :) LOL, just kidding.

of America it becomes a hoot lol When I used to be a csm at another store ( not Wal Mart ) I actually had cashiers that were amazed like it was magic when they could not get a coupon to scan ( they were scanning the right side code) and I would go over take the coupon cup it in my hand whisper under my breath into my hand then scan teh left side bar and have it scan I would walk away with a smile , the customer laughing and the cashier with a deer in headlights look lol I would then go back and letthem know what they did wrong lol Cruel maybe but it always got a chuckle from the then happy customer lol

to get their so called coupon policy and I too have the name of the real manager on hand in my book for the very few times I shop there... (I could use a copy too if you would be so kind to email me a copy)
i usually get stuck talking to a csm and then I am like no i want cathy and they are like uh well uh duh.....
I know exactly how much my total will be in case of any discrepanices and usually tell the cashier ahead of time to put her light on because she will need a few overrides and key to total out (if you use too many coupons you need a key)
I have gone round and round with corp before over the exact amount of the coupons and using on trial sizes so they know me all too well.........
The truth is out there.....

I do feel luckier than most as our walmart does great customer service. they really do. but then again, they like most walmart stores do not train their cashiers how to handle coupons. val

have to say though, my Walmart is great, I have never had a problem with any coupons there. The sad thing for me, is they say they are no longer doing the scan garantee for food items. I have always got lots of items free because of that.

I had the same problem a while ago about using more then one coupon. I had a coupon for each bag of cat food I was buying and they told me I could only use 1 coupon. I even showed them their coupon policy I kept in my coupon wallet. She took it to customer service, they studied it, and then she came back and still told me NO, I could only use 1 coupon per purchase. RIGHT I said. Each bag is a purchase. She wouldn't budge. My husband was in line behind me and was getting fidgety so I didn't even bother with talking to the store manager because I already knew he was rude from when I use to work there. So my husband grabbed a bag and a coupon and told her to "shove the rest" and I bought one and HE bought one. I let her know that THIS stupidity is why I'd rather go to Kmart.

If I do finally get an associate to acknowledge me they don't have any clue where something is and they don't try to find out.Coupons are just a nightmare they read one per purchase as one per transaction. So I rather pay a little more and go somewhere else. If I were you I would call corporate anyway just to have it documented.

Yea, alot of cash clerks don't have any idea what is accepted and what is not when it concerns coupons. In fact, it amazes me that some of them have worked there so long and still don't get it, but... make them call corporate, they will tell the manager and clerks to accept your coupons ect. I have made them call many times while I'm waiting to be checked out because of the same thing. I was lucky though, I always had my daughter with me for support and she would tell them who to call and how they were supposed to handle the situation. It seemed to always take me an hour, but well worth the trouble with the cart full of free stuff I always managed to go home with. So make them call corporate. (I could use a copy too if you would be so kind to email me a copy) i usually get stuck talking to a csm and then I am like no i want cathy and they are like uh well uh duh..... I know exactly how much my total will be in case of any discrepanices and usually tell the cashier ahead of time to put her light on because she will need a few overrides and key to total out (if you use too many coupons you need a key) I have gone round and round with corp before over the exact amount of the coupons and using on trial sizes so they know me all too well......... The truth is out there.....

I had a coupon for each bag of cat food I was buying and they told me I could only use 1 coupon. I even showed them their coupon policy I kept in my coupon wallet. She took it to customer service, they studied it, and then she came back and still told me NO, I could only use 1 coupon per purchase. RIGHT I said. Each bag is a purchase. She wouldn't budge. My husband was in line behind me and was getting fidgety so I didn't even bother with talking to the store manager because I already knew he was rude from when I use to work there. So my husband grabbed a bag and a coupon and told her to "shove the rest" and I bought one and HE bought one. I let her know that THIS stupidity is why I'd rather go to Kmart.
