Go through the official site listed at the FTC and you can get a free report from each of the bureaus. If you want your score, it is gonna cost ya, but the reports themselves are free. This is a once a year thing, you are entitled to a free report once a year from each of them. Across the top of the page is where you need to click to get back to the site and go on to get another report.

collectors report to diff ones. So it is better to have all three.
One of mine was showing a bill that was pass do. A truck my ex had when
we split up yrs go. I took it back over and paid it off. But they never reported
it as being paid off in full. (thank god I have a crt from the bank as paid in full)
Well when I got my truck 6 months ago. The bank pulled a credit report. It did not show
that bill even listed on the report they got. They only pulled the report from TansUnion.
It was not listed there.
Well I could not understand why my credit score was so slowly moving up. I have NO
unstanding debts. I do not use credit card. Try to make the house payment on time,
all the time.
It is because there is a bill that has been paid off yrs ago and they never reported
it has being paid off.
Now my bank is going to help me get this problem fixed. So my credit score will
start raising faster.
If I would not have print off all THREE Credit reports I would not known about
this bill being list on one of the reports.
So I think it is a great thing to check all three. I has help me.

that way I dont have to pay for a credit report and i get to check several times a year. I don't have credit issues so I am not too worried about it, but if you have more stuff going on I can see why you would want to get all 3 at once for free.
