Here's a site I found and wanted to share It's a cool site It's called freecycle.org is a site where people post stuff they are giving away. It is a Yahoo group org so you have to get a Yahoo username and password first if you don't have one. You can select cities around you, and sign up. You can receive emails immediately when someone posts something in your selected cities! Everyone seems quite nice, not shady.

The mods are so strict. Very particular about every little thing. I don't like to post there very often. It's nice to watch the boards though and see what people are offering. Sometimes you can get great stuff. I got rid of a whole lot of old yard sale leftovers last year to one person. They had to make 2 trips to get it all. But they were thankful. Then a couple of days later they reposted my old stuff free to anyone else who wanted it. They had gotten everything out of it they wanted and gave the rest away. I think that was very nice of them. Now that is recycling for ya.
