In memory of my beloved beautiful brother Sonny
whom earned his wings in heaven 10-26-65 5-4- I am going to be posting many topics of conversations.......Nothing political or religion......This is about getting old....At this point I am 54 years old. Now most people would say no way that is so young. Yes it is considered young in today's time's.....However as I age and especially in the last couple of years . I think more of more about getting old. Of course the issue always is wish I could be young again. Why did we all want to rush our live's....We all did for the most part. I know for me whom had a very close knit family it was safe.....we were not rich but we were comfortable. Mom and Dad and all my brothers were always there. We lived in a 4 four flat apartment in the Borough of Queens in a town called Ridgewood. About 40 Minutes from New York City. I think about the block the building the streets. How innocent it all was. Wanted to be 13 then 16 then 18 then 21. Then get married have kids...And I did and here I am now 54 wishing to turn back the clock. I would not trade my future my hubby and our children and grandchildren.....but I should would love to go back even for a few moments. I have been told many times I am a old soul. I believe this very much. I am fascinated with anything old and the past. When sadly life was better. Hard in one way but for sure better...Will continue later. dirt poor in Ohio. My father was a mean alcoholic and my mother had me when she was 40 years old. My parents divorced when I was 11 years old. I think about getting old all the time. Seems like I have a new ache or pain every morning. My primary concern right now is my husband who has poor health and looks like hes 83 instead of 63. I pray every night that we just live long enough to see these grandkids that we're raising graduate from high school and go away to college!!

sound so down in my post. I'm actually very thankful for my health and my family. It is an honor and a pleasure to have these kids with us. Without them we might be living on a beach in Florida somewhere enjoying our retirement but with them we laugh and play games and keep young at heart!! We love them and wouldn't trade them for anything in the world.
