The PIB (Pay It Back) and PIF (Pay It Forward) games are basically intended as a fun way for people to pass along extra, small value items that they may have lying around. If you'd like to participate in them, the first post of each thread has an explanation/description of the game. I'd estimate that the value of the items changing hands is usually somewhere in the $.50-$2.00 range (not counting postage, which is the responsibility of the sender), although what value someone places on something can of course vary a lot from person to person (and it can be to quantify). After reading the initial posts, if you read through the current PIB or PIF thread you'll probably get a pretty good idea of how it works and a rough idea of what sorts of items people post. After that if you have any specific questions just ask and I'm sure you'll get some helpful responses.
