hi, does anyone know of someone that is stationed in the military overseas,and there family is here...i would like to show my gratefulness,for there very unselfish deed in fighting for our freedom...i would like to send out a card,and some goodies to there wife & kids to let them know i appriciate there family's sacrafice they have made,and that we have not forgotten them...plse e-mail me info...thanks...

I JUST GOT BACK FROM OUR NAVY WIVES CLUB MEETING. WE ARE GOING TO DO A "SHOEBOX AUCTION" FOR THE SAILORS ON THE SHIP TO BOOST MORALE. WE FILL SHOEBOXES WITH LITTLE FUN CHEAP STUFF. SQUIRT GUNS,COLOR BOOKS,CRAYONS,GUM,CANDY,PLAYING CARDS ETC... WE ARE THEN GOING TO MAIL THEM TO THE COMMAND MASTER CHIEF TO AUCTION THEM OFF. THE SHIP THEN TAKES THE MONEY MADE & PUTS IT INTO A FUND. THEY JUST TOOK SOME OF THAT MONEY TO PURCHASE A PLANE TICKET FOR A YOUNG MAN WHO'S WIFE WAS MURDERED LAST MONTH. UNFORTUNATLEY THEY HAD JUST GOTTEN MARRIED WHEN HE WAS ON LEAVE IN CALIFORNIA. AND SHE DECICDED TO STAY THERE & TIE UP ODDS & ENDS BEFORE SHE CAME HERE SINCE SHE KNEW HE WOULD BE GONE FOR 8 MONTHS. NO-THE MILITARY WOULDN'T PAY FOR HIS TICKET. THEY STATED SINCE THEY WERE MARRIED SHE SHOULD OF BEEN HERE & THEN THEY WOULDN'T HAVE TO FLY HIM HOME!!!
I COULD EVEN SEND SOME MONEY TO REIMBURSE YOU FOR POSTAGE. I CAN EVEN SEND YOU SOME INFO ON THIS SO EVEYBODY KNOWS THIS ISN'T A SCAM. WE (THE NAVY WIVES CLUB) WON'T EVEN OPEN YOUR BOX. WE ARE GOING TO COLLECT THEM & THEN SHIP THEM TOGETHER BECAUSE 1. WE ARE GETTING A GREAT SHIPPING BULK DISCOUNT. 2. WE DON'T WANT PEOPLE TO PICK A SPECIFIC SAILORS NAME BECAUSE THEN WE HAVE SOME LEFT!
YOU CAN EVEN PUT YOUR NAME & ADDRESS IN THE BOX THAT WE WON'T OPEN SO YOUR SAILOR CAN CONTACT YOU FOR A THANK YOU PLUS SO YOU KNOW WE DID FORWARD THE BOXES TO THEM.

I am an Airforce wife, and all my family are thousands of miles from me in the states. It gets hard being overseas especially when your husband was called to fight and has been over there for a while. And you have two kids. I would absolutely love to have my mom or mother in law here with me to help. Easter was little for us this year. He's been there for several months now, and boy do I miss him. My daughter asks where's daddy all the time. My son doesn't yet know what is going on yet.
