Just found an great site, not sure if you have tried it yet, but here is some words from their site

If you don't have a child right now - or wish to save for yourself - just join and name yourself as the future student! You can always change the future student later.
Think about earning $5,000, $10,000 or even $20,000 for educational expenses over the next 10 years, without doing anything different then buying what you do now. Upromise collects your earnings and puts them in a 529 savings account. Click on the site and find out how to start saving now.
Not sure you want to sign up ? Keep in mind you:
1) Can sign up even if you don't have kids, as long as you are 13 or older,
2) You can have other people link to you account to combine money.
3) YOU DON'T have to have a 529 account, YOU CAN EVEN REQUEST A CHECK FOR THE MONEY YOU SAVED.

You are going to buy groceies anyway so if you sign up you are atleast getting something back (just pennies on the Dollar) but pennies over time equal Dollars
