I have been so busy with this house this week that I didn't have time to match up coupons etc. But I had to at least stop in and buy something today...so I bought some Sammi product....well my ECB's printed form last week and the cashier's eyes got sooooo big...she spread it on the counter and was showing me each one (like I didn't know they were gonna be there...LOL) I asked her if any ads were available yet and she said no but she told me there is supposed to be a tv on sale for 9.99....I said "well maybe I'll get that with my $10 ECB that just printed" She was like" Oh yeah...that would be free...wow" She sure made my day....was almost more excited than me.
I sure hope I can find time to do some deals this week. I really shouldn't cause I'm trying to declutter.....but my name is Cathy....and I'm a CVS oholic

I am going to try them this week, I know it takes 2 days for the store to update your ECB, so does that mean I have to go back and buy something to get the coupons?
Also, If I have coupons for the items, will I get the full amount or is it less the coupon (ex. the razors are $5 ecb is $5 but I have a 1.50 coupon, do I get $5 ecb or just 3.50?)

you can either go back to the store and buy something(think small) to get your ECB's or you can go to the website and print them off.....I haven't used the option yet...so not sure how it works.
If the ECB is for $5 and you use a coupon.....you still get $5 ECB...that's what makes it all so sweet
It's a lot of fun to do these deals....BUT BEWARE....they are very addictive. Hope that helps if you have any other questions...feel free to post them......

Quick question, tho...
Someone posted that some of the deals start before they are actually advertized in the Sunday circulars. Plus some continue after they're advertized even if they are not in next week's circular. Where/how can I find out about these?
I gather items for care packages going to Pennsylvanian soldiers stationed in Iraq, Kosovo, and Afghanistan. So I love it when they have unlimited 100% rebates! With Thanksgiving and Christmas coming, they're a huge help! I loved the Sunsilk rebate! :) :)

It is a trial and error type thing! People found out about the Colgate Offer because they had the sparkling mint on sale for $0.75 and they had $0.75 off coupons, making them free. Also had Max Fresh 4 pk Trials on sale for $0.50 +. People who bought them got ECB for Colgate Max fresh! This is how it appreared in the online account so then we knew it was good for the month

seems to totally depend on your CVS store (and often on the cashier). The easiest thing to do would be to try it or call and ask. But if you find a nice cashier---remember their face!!! LOL
The assistant manager at my local CVS is a gem....but the manager is a total turkey!! The Asst manager took my 2 playtex sport internet printed coupons without a hitch..... but my second time ringing out (I let others go in front of me to keep from holding up the line with multiple transactions), I got the manager and he wouldn't even let me use 2 small ECB's together...we're talking a $1 ECB and a $2.99. He says it is ONE PER TRANSACTION.... PERIOD. So I made him void off 1 item and checked out yet ANOTHER time due to the stupidity!! LOL
Wish I could help more---but coupon policies seem to vary from store to store. It seems to be the manager's discretion as to whether they take printed coupons. HTH

I'm noticing that when i print up my ecb bucks, they do not delete out of my account, even after i use them...the small $2 one's go away, but the pantene, dove,sport...still shows up in my account, even after i used them already...so i been keeping track of the coupon #'s so that i don't print & use the same coupon 2 times....

Do not take the coupon #, the orders that are the saem Like the pantene usually have the same #'s (For instance, all 4 of my Colgate Max have the same #) So try to write down the prices instead. I dont print them out any more because they are too hard to remember which ones I already used.

So I buy 2 of the required items that each cost $5, for a total of $10.
BUT I also use 2 coupons cut from the Sunday circulars that are each worth $1, for a total of $2.
Do the coupons affect the $10 requirement?
I need to know asap because I am going shopping tomorrow and don't want to screw things up. :)

I do the rebate programs at Rite Aid, CVS, and Eckerds and donate most of what I buy to a military support group which sends care packages to Pennsylvanian soldiers currently stationed overseas in Iraq, Kosovo, and Afghanistan. My mom calls me the Coupon Queen of South Tenth Street! You should see the huge pile of stuff I have waiting to give them tomorrow! LOL! If only I could drive, I would have even more. I'm hoping to get my hands on more of the Playtex Sport (especially wanting the Playtex $2.50 co's so that I can come up with a few years supply of these haha) & Pantene co's before the end of the month, but I haven't had any luck at all :( So I need to take a look at the next couple of weeks deals to see what I can roll my ecb's onto.

I thought it was just for this week! Tell me how you think I have done so far:
I started last sunday spending $40 (no ECB) on tuesday I got $60 ECB
On tuesday I spent all my $60 ECB and on Friday got $76 ECB, on Friday I spent all $76 ECB, (I had to buy my husband his razors which were $22) so Sunday I am hoping to get $50 ECB. Have I done good?
I think I have gotton so far:

12 bags of kotex
3 Frutice items
4 Sammy items

my store is merging from osco to cvs,so they are still in the process of unpacking...could'nt find any of the items today on kandy's list except for the toothpaste...so that is why i walked out with 8 tubes today...he-he...
