I have been a cardholder with this for a while and I wanted to pass it along to those who might not know about this. If you do, please ignore me ;)
If you go to AMC theaters this is worth it. Go to www.moviewatcher.com and register for the moviewatcher card. My husband and I each have one so we get equal rewards when we go to the movies.
When you buy your tickets, you give them your card and they'll swipe it. For every ticket you buy, you get 2 points (up to 4 points per purchase). When you reach 10 points, you get a free small popcorn. 20 points gets you a free small soft drink ($1 will upgrade you to a large.) At 30 points, you get a free ticket, or both a free popcorn and softdrink. Those repeat to 90 points. At 100, you get a free ticket, popcorn AND drink! After that it repeats again.
And in between, when you're not getting free stuff, you'll get coupons with your tickets. Sometimes its for discounts on a combo, sometimes for cheap candy (I got one for a box of whoppers for a dollar once). They don't check id's either, so you can lend them to your friends and they'll earn you points when they go.
I know it's been around a while, but I know there's still people who don't know about these cards. So, just an FYI! :)
