I found this board over a year ago and signed up for Memolink, and My Points and using someone as my referal. Well I hate to promote things that i don't like so here are my thoughts
Keep in Mind i have been with both for just over a year. I haven't really been serious about it, more of something i do once a week or so
Memolink is good, it takes a while to add up the points, you have to have 1200 points before you cash out for the first time. Anyway they have has some problems with shipping on time but I'm proud to say that i have recieved $10 KB Gift card, 10 Hollywood video Free movie coupons, $5 Burger king bucks, I have a few more on order but they say that they are shipping new orders first, (its a long story) Anyway proud to say that they have cone through for me. and if you are interested in joining please use me a your referal. (it doesn't cost you anything to use my name)
My points
I have been witht is company for a little over a year and i haven't gotten anything i keep trying to get points and it seems that everytime i do they raise the number of points i need for my GC. Anyway i hope to cash out for a $10 GC before the end of the month i only need a lousy 100 more points.

By now you're probably growing tired of waiting for the Memolink prize that you ordered several months ago. We know that we promised to have it to you within 24 weeks, but unfortunately, we are not going to be able to send them as quickly as we had expected. We're very sorry to relay such disappointing news.
Until now, we've been able to fill overdue prize orders within the time frame that we had promised. Unfortunately, because of the troubled Internet economy many of our partners have gone bankrupt and our collected revenues have not grown as expected. To date, Memolink has written off nearly $1,000,000 in bad debt. This is advertising revenue Memolink will likely never see. Having stated this, I'm afraid I have some bad news as to when you can expect your outstanding prize orders that you placed in April, May or June.
Your current prize or prizes will now be filled as follows:
All April Prizes: No later than May 31st, 2002
All May Prizes: No later than July 31st, 2002
All June Prizes: No later than September 30th, 2002
All July Prizes: No later than November 30th, 2002
All August Prizes: No later than December 31st, 2002
The good news is that Memolink will now fill all of your new prizes, placed on or later than December 10th within 4-6 weeks. Furthermore, as Memolink's business continues to improve, we will do everything possible to send out your outstanding prizes before the dates listed above.
Why are we doing this? It may not sound fair and we completely understand if you're disappointed in Memolink. The bottom line is that Memolink cannot survive unless both our older dedicated members AND our newer members continue completing offers and keep earning points. We know that if we don't send out prizes fast, you won't have any reason to continue visiting Memolink and earning points. This is our only chance to catch up.
As most of you know, many of our competitors, other rewards or loyalty programs, have gone out of business because they were unable or unwilling to adjust to the drastic downturn in the Internet Economy. We, as a company, are trying to be realistic about how best to not only survive in these most challenging times, but also continue to grow and profit from the relationships we maintain with both our 1 million plus membership, and our current advertisers.

If we were to keep sending out prizes on our regular schedule (that we promised you earlier) we would never break out of the "24 week rut" and would always be six months behind. Plus we would continue to lose members if EVERY member had to wait 6 months for EVERY prize.
We expect that if all prizes are filled within 4-6 weeks going forward, our members will generate revenue for Memolink much faster and we'll be able to catch up on prizes faster. This is our best chance to fill ALL prizes as quickly as possible.
I'm not telling you all of this in hopes to muster your sympathy or to list excuses as to why your prizes are still late. I'm telling you because as a Memolink member, you deserve to know the truth.

Since Dec they've been sending out to anyone who has cashed out in Dec or later. It's the previous months that were backed up.
I know people who have gotten theirs from Sept on, including me.
They are trying to do some catch up, but I do this everyday and will continue as long as I receive my GC's. So far so good. Have been with them for a long time now.

Failure is not an option. It is a privilege reserved only for those who try.

I'm not saying that they havn't had their down falls, And just like everyone else i an still waiting for prizes long past due BUT....
As stated Memolink is sending out Prizes ordered after Dec 11, 2001, in 4-6 weeks.
I had points credited to me on Janaury 2nd 2002, ordered 3 gift certificates that with those points and they were sent out yesterday
Prizes in 4-6 weeks is better than any other company i have dealt with,
As for those of you thinking SCREW this company i haven't gotten my prize they owe me, Let me tell you this, IF WE DON'T SUPPORT THEM AND THEY GO UNDER YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR PRIZE. However if you support them you will get your prize. (they are out to make money, if they don't have money they can't send you what you ordered,)

I will go back to them after they fulfile the orders I am not the only one out here that fills that memo link SUCKS!!!!! I bought books, stocks, mags, cloths an alot of other things to get points to get my certs, an know your telling me its my flaut for not supporting them!!!!! 4 to 6 weeks has come an gone for me, it's been like 4 to 6 years, " Face It,If they can stand the heat get out of the kitchen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MyPoints PAYS and pays quickly. If you update your profile to get emails about everything you will earn points and fast. I think I cashed in some points in early November and now have 1,090 already, almost enough for a $10 GC. I do nothing but free stuff...if I had the $$ I'd buy through their site for more points!
Memolink, I still go in everyday, do the Site of the day, and the trivia. That's it. Takes mega montsh to get the points, takes mega months to get a reward! My mom still has one not filled from May of last year! I'm almost up to another GC, and will order it and see the results. I think last time I ordered was Sept, and it took them weeks to get it to the processing stage, then weeks to fulfill it! Very irritating. Been a member for years though. Will continue but I don't know why!?! hee hee

I have heard nothing but negative about there program. I don't think I have ever heard of anyone getting the reward from memolink.
MYPOINTS PAYS FAST!!! and it can take over a year to get one from memolink(at least that is what they told me when I emailed asking where mine was). Let's all complain on planetfeedback!! and get as many others to complain there also!!Maybe that will light a fire under their butts!!

But they still owe my sister from last year!!
They are trying to do better & I agree we have to keep supporting them if we want to see the prizes we are owed. I have seen worse sites, and better. My points is ok, I think milesource is even better, my movie tickets from them (twice got these) in one week!

I ordered my prize back in November and would like to cancel it and receive my points back. Is there anything that I can order and receive quicker?? It's really silly for it to take this long. I use other points/rewards programs and usually within 2 weeks I have my reward.

Thank you for your e-mail. Over the past year Memolink has had several advertisers on our site that did not survive the troubled Internet economy drop-off. Unfortunately a few of these companies went out of business and left Memolink unpaid for services and it put us in a tight spot to cover payment on our own (as we had already awarded points to many members). This does not include companies that Memolink promotes in the Prizes category. These unexpected financial costs for the offers you and other members may have completed forced us to delay some prize orders so we can catch up. If you ordered your prize between September 1st and December 9th, 2001, your prize order will likely take upwards of 26 weeks from the date you placed the order to be filled. While it is taking MUCH longer than we like, you will DEFINITELY receive your outstanding prize, as well as any future orders you place. In an effort to make this up to you, Memolink is now filling current prize orders (for any placed on or after 12/10/01) within a period of 4-6 weeks.
I am sorry but Memolink will not be able to accommodate any prize order cancellations at this time. If we allow our members to cancel current prize orders in order to place new orders, we will be defeating the purpose of our initiative. In other words, we'll be right back to where we started and we will never get back on track if we let members do this. Please keep in mind that any of your NEW orders (placed on or later than December 10th) will be filled within 4-6 weeks. I am sorry, but I hope that you understand that Memolink is taking these drastic measures to better serve you and other members in the future.

I got 1 of my past G/C (it was from October) and 2 of mine within the 6 weeks (ordered May 4th, 2002) as promised last week.
I'm just wish they would offer more programs on their site. It seems they have the same thing all the time. But can't argue with $30 in G/Cs

I ordered my Dell laptop through MyPoints and received a lot of points for the expensive purchase. I redeemed about 5000 points for a $50 Speigels GC, but they sent me a $25 GC. Tried twice to have them look into this for me, but they never did anything about it. Oh well.

payout is very slow, but I have gotten several things from that sight. I have over 3000 points in one account trying to get to 3400 points before the end of July so I can get my gift certificates.

MyPoints PAYS and pays quickly. If you update your profile to get emails about everything you will earn points and fast. I think I cashed in some points in early November and now have 1,090 already, almost enough for a $10 GC. I do nothing but free stuff...if I had the $$ I'd buy through their site for more points! Memolink, I still go in everyday, do the Site of the day, and the trivia. That's it. Takes mega montsh to get the points, takes mega months to get a reward! My mom still has one not filled from May of last year! I'm almost up to another GC, and will order it and see the results. I think last time I ordered was Sept, and it took them weeks to get it to the processing stage, then weeks to fulfill it! Very irritating. Been a member for years though. Will continue but I don't know why!?! hee hee

I have heard nothing but negative about there program. I don't think I have ever heard of anyone getting the reward from memolink. MYPOINTS PAYS FAST!!! and it can take over a year to get one from memolink(at least that is what they told me when I emailed asking where mine was). Let's all complain on planetfeedback!! and get as many others to complain there also!!Maybe that will light a fire under their butts!! :)

But they still owe my sister from last year!! They are trying to do better & I agree we have to keep supporting them if we want to see the prizes we are owed. I have seen worse sites, and better. My points is ok, I think milesource is even better, my movie tickets from them (twice got these) in one week!
