i wonder if hardee does fee you one dollar when you use visa or debit card.
i did saw warning note at cashier at carl's jr in california.
i use cash better than debit or visa card.

There were probably hundreds of major retailers on the list for the survey. The retailers stated that they would NOT pass on those charges to customers. I would think that the retailers that would be hurt the most by the charges would be small, mom-and-pop type businesses...and they would be more likely to tack on the charge on each purchase made.
Big retailers can negotiate lower or no fees with Visa and Mastercard and/or afford to absorb the charges themselves, rather than make the customer pay.
