They now sell 100 calorie quaker granola bars and 100 cal packets of oreo type cookie things(and others). The only problem is you have to stop after one! I went through a dried fruit phase(gotta find the right kind though),apple dipped in lowfat peanut butter(pretty filling) grapes and cracker barrel lowfat cheese sticks, lite microwave popcorn, diet lemon snapple ice tea, banana dipped in peanut butter, plain almonds, gummi bears(ok they ARE better 4 U than a chocolate bar though!!),giffords raspberry choc chip frozen yogurt(mmmmmmmmmmm this is sooooooo good). Can you tell Im a sweets type person????? Whenever I get back to eating right then Halloween rolls around followed by Christmas and I get off track again until February.Ill be checking this post for more ideas for me too. Thanks for posting it:)
Stacy

It's a great treat and takes away from the feeling of deprivation......

and I always make sure that I have some type of sugar free mints....helps to at least put a flavor in your mouth.

Good luck !

And it tastes really good when you want that little bit of decadance. Add some low cal cool whip and you have yourself a yummy dessert.

I'm just kidding.

But I swear that I could gain weight just from inhaling when I've walked down the cookie aisle at the grocery.

Its not all about snacks this is what I've done got sick of the extra 20lbs after having kids that wouldnt come off I now weigh less than I did when I got married in 90's Idid this one at a time you will get used to it
Keep a food journal you will see where all the extra bites licks and tastes really do add up and what you can cut out

switched from reg soda to diet
switched to lower fat, lower calorie salad dressings, mayo started buying fatfree sour cream
if you don' already drink skim milk that's a start I actually went to soymil with my breakfast less calories
I buy low/no sugar splenda yogurt
quit drinking your calories I cut back on juice and such so many empty calories I drink water, diet v8 splash sometimes I make koolaid with splenda
quit eating regular butter I now use smart balance light
substitue applesauce for butter in some recipes\
I don't eat any white bread, pasta, potatoes I buy whole grain natural breads and pasta and still keep consumption to a minimum
I don't eat any fried foods
I only buy reduced fat cheese sargento and kraft are both good
I dont' eat much red meat at all mostly lean cuts of chicken, pork and fish

i like nature valley personally. they taste really good, are cruncy, nutritous, and satisfy the sweet cravings i get. i know they are packed with sugar BUT there are a lot less empty calories in granola bars than cookies. hth :)

They are available at CVS, Rite, Walmart, etc... in the diet section. It is in a tin that
costs less than $3.00. You take 1 or 2 mints before each meal and snack. They taste great (minty) but they reduce your appetite and increase your metabolism. You can take up to 12
mints per day. They are sugar free (they contain Splenda) with no ephedra or caffeine. Check
out their website: www.slimmint.com.

Thank You

Debbie
