Hello all! I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm starting labor :) --well, :( right now!!! lol
What I thought was my mucous plug a week ago must have been a part of it, cuz last night it really came out! I'm spotting a little, which DR said is fine because of the plug, plus the cervix is a muscle, so when it thins, it will cause a little bleeding she said. I am getting contractions, and not to be gross, I HOPE HOPE HOPE I won't get diarrhea. I had it for 3 days with my son....didn't feel contractions, just back pains and cramps like you have to go #2 very bad...for 3 stinkin days. So I hope this time It won't be bad. I feel really gross, like im tired, and my head is groggy. But the Dr said, she likes to call this stage, the invasion of the body snatchers! Like you have flu-like symptoms, etc. I just want to go to sleep!!
Well, I will keep you all updated on and off if it goes slowly, if not, you'll hear the good news in a few days.

I have this mental picture of you running around trying to pack things though, so let me jump on my "mothering soapbox" for a moment and say "Get some rest now, while you can!" :0) Seriously. The moving stuff can sit and wait. Take real good care of yourself. Will be thinking about you and hoping for a nice, easy labor.

I'm in "early labor" doc. said it could last for a few days (just like with DS). It sucks! I was getting contractions every 15 min for a few hours, then it totally stopped, then of course I finally get to sleep, but I was wakin up every 30mins cuz I'd have a contraction. Then they started every 10 minutes. I finally got up to take a shower, now, I havent had one in almost an hour. HURRY UP ALREADY!! lol Today is my aunts b-day, so that would be a nice surprise for her. Well, I'm gonna go now. I gotta clean! But I'm so exhausted I just want to lay down. Oh yeah, tina, im goin to Overlook.

it's usually used for making cramps (period) greatly diminished--but for child labor it brings it on. my FIL told me about it 15 yrs ago--with my 1st son--I took 3 and had him in 4 hrs, the 2nd took 6 and had him in 1.5hrs, with my daughter i took the same with the same results--with my last (5yrs old now) i took 12 and had him in 30 minutes !!
They make your contractions HARD, strong, and very productive

indian women use to use this herb as a form of birth control,as the herbs side effect makes the placenta break away from your uterus,therefore a miscarrige took place...use with extreme caution as it can be very toxic to unborn babies,and label on product notes to not use if you are pregnant. herbs can be a great help and serve many uses but everyone must do some research on them first before using...
