Remember that a lot will depend on what they will or won't eat.

Get a jar of alfredo sauce (or make it) and noodles. I also throw in some cooked chicke cut up into bite size pieces. I cheat sometimes and buy the shortcuts, there are coupons out for $2/1 so they are only $3 a box of cooked chicken after coupon. Can feed my family with leftovers for $5. Usually also make garlic bread.

Spaghtetti is usually always a fave and you can always add some tomatoe sauce/paste to make the jar of sauce go farther.

If they eat ham, you could always make ham for dinner one night and then you have the leftovers to make sandwiches for the next couple days. Might seem like a lot spending $10 for a ham for dinner bt when you look at the fact that you can have lunch for 2 days or mix i in with scrambled eggs it is reasonable.

One box of noodles, 1 8oz block of cheddar cheese, ragu or tomato soup, then peas and hot dogs.
Cook noodles as normal, drain. Then add add cheddar cheese either cut up or if you're lazy like me I grate it. Add either 1 can of tomato soup or about a cup to a cup & a half of spaghetti sauce. Then add peas (frozen or canned) and sliced hot dogs. Just stir and bake at 350 for about 20 minutes or until all the cheese is melted. I usually stir atleast once while it's baking. My kids love it and it makes enough to feed all five plus leftovers for lunch the next day.
