If opened storE in fridge, and never freeze it! fROM MY KNOWLEDGE IF IT 'SEPARTES'(OIL FROM BUTTER,) JUST GIVE IT A GOOD STIR, AND IT'S GOOD TO GO! Posted on Jun-14-05 at 03:12 PM (Eastern) by 4.161.19.56 Skippy puts exp or best by dates on their products. Even the lil tubes (which are great on vacation) had dates. And I've had some past date w/ no problem as well. We store ours downstairs in the pantry unopened. Open one is just in the cupboard w/ no problems. Mary Ava
