1 . "My niece is a teacher....and she really loves to get supplies....simple things like red ink pens for grading papers, black ink pens, dry erase markers.....if you go to the dollar stores you should find all those things there....shouldnt cost you more than $5....have your son make the teacher a Cmas card himself for a personal touch :)"

2 . "Forgot to ask how many teachers did you need gifts for....you could buy multipacks of the pens and dry erase markers and split them up...tie them together with ribbon to a cute notepaper cube (also from the dollar store)...."

5 . "3rd grade teacher"

I teach 3rd grade & would like to put in my 2 cents here. Please no one take offense or personal, just my opinion.
Instead of getting a whole pack of cheapo red ink pens or ??? I would MUCH rather have 1 really good red pen.
I love good stuff but like most here I'm cheap too so rarely buy the good stuff for myself. One really good pair of scissors would be awesome, real band aids, some good tape. Most of what we rec, gets used right back into the classroom. I know just one thing will not look like much but believe me, it will be appreciated much more!

My kids are helping me make fudge and banana nut bread and we are going to make little packages of fudge and a mini loaf of bread for the teachers and include some supplies to go along with them as well like pens, post-its and little stuff like that

They had a micro popcorn, coke or other drink, I think a movie rental gift card in a bucket that the child decorated.

I don't have children but I think I remember that as an idea someone tossed out.
