I was using the Kraft Bistro Deluxe printable coupon for $1.50 off and the cashier said they no longer accepted coupons printed off the internet. I told her I always redeem internet coupons and never before had problems and then I asked to speak to the manager. So he comes over, tells me he never saw a coupon like this before. (Mind you, I shop there several times per week always with coupons and several internet ones) So I told him I'd done it there before and after MUCH hemming and hawing I got him to take it. He of course, said, "I guess I'll do it just this once..." blah blah. Just really frustrating. I hate it when retailers make couponing hard for consumers. GRR! Thanks for letting me vent. Darn Kroger...

Said they couldnt accept internt printed coupons just like you i asked to speak with the manager and they did the same thing gave me the run around and then finally accepted it and said that it would be the last time they would do it.

was posted on their door for a couple of years that they would no longer accept internet printed coupons. Some people were justing copying the coupon and selling them on ebay and the stores were not getting remburst for the coupons. Alot of stores, not just Kroger,quit accepting intenet printed coupons.

or even better email, and get a copy of what their main policy is. I had a problem at a Jewel store, the manager tried to tell me that I could not use two coupons when the store was offering a buy1get1free item. I had done this for years and at many different stores. So I emailed the corporate office, and got an email back saying there was no problem with that, and that the manager was wrong. I took it in and showed it to her the next time I shopped, since then she is so overly friendly to me that it is funny.

I just think it was weird that they said no to that coupon because I have been shopping at that Kroger for over a year and used internet coupons nearly every time. There's no notice posted or anything. I was just made to feel like some coupon pirate or something and I spend a good amount of money there every month. It just was not cool...

All of our local stores (Tops/Wegmans) have refused to take internet coupons at all for several years.

I tried to use the Quaker $5 off grocery coupon yesterday at Wegman's and the cashier and the manager insisted that it was only good for $5 off a Quaker product.

So I took it back and went to Tops and they wouldn't take it either because they insisted it was an internet coupon!

What a pain.
